There are several benefits to becoming a local NC BCCCP provider. As a provider you are able to provide breast and cervical cancer screening services and many diagnostic services at minimal or no cost to your low- and moderate- income female patients. As a BCCCP provider, the women you diagnose with breast and/or cervical cancer are also eligible to apply for Breast and Cervical Cancer Medicaid (BCCM). Once approved, BCCM provides coverage for all covered medical care as well as any cancer treatment the women needs through the entire course of their treatment.

As a BCCCP Provider, you may also be eligible to become a NC WISEWOMAN Provider. The Well-Integrated Screening and Evaluation for Women Across the Nation (WISEWOMAN) Project provides cardiovascular disease screening, intervention, counseling and referral services to BCCCP enrolled women.
